Here’s another exciting addition to my portfolio – the official website for Royce Tours & Travels, a well-established travel and taxi service provider based in Kandy, Sri Lanka. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, this project gave me the opportunity to create a digital experience that reflects the agency’s professionalism, hospitality, and deep local knowledge.
Project Overview
Royce Tours specializes in private tours, airport pickups, custom trip planning, and guided travel experiences across Sri Lanka. The primary focus was to build a site that showcases their core destinations (like Kandy, Ella, Sigiriya, and Trincomalee), clearly highlights activity-based experiences, and allows international travelers to easily submit booking inquiries.
What I Did
The website was designed and developed using CMS for easy maintenance and scalability. Here’s what I focused on:
- Clean and responsive design that works seamlessly across all devices
- SEO-friendly content with keyword targeting (e.g., travel agent in Kandy, taxi service in Kandy, Queens Travel)
- Detailed tour package pages with multi-day itineraries and overviews
- Simple booking inquiry forms to collect user interest
- Modern vehicle showcase (cars, vans, SUVs) and best tour guides highlight
- Blog-ready structure to support future tourism content
SEO & Performance
I focused on relevant search terms like travel agency Kandy, taxi service in Kandy, and Sri Lanka tour planner. All meta tags, titles, image alt texts, and headings were optimized to boost discoverability and improve user engagement.
